The Annual Tuition Fee for 2018

Tuition fees do not cover uniforms, textbooks, subject/technology levies, excursions, transport fee, and optional accomplishments e.g. tutoring, sports registration or coaching. Excursion fees, subject/technology levies and approved textbooks costs will be charged to your account.

Terms and conditions

  1. A Non-Refundable Application Fee of $100 is payable with
    each student application.
  2. A Security Bond of $500 applies per student with a maximum of $1,000 per family. The security bond is payable upon enrolment and will be refundable when the student leaves the school. The Security Bond will not be refunded if a
    parent decides to cancel, defer or withdraw his/her child/ren from the school within 12 months of acceptance of enrolment offer and completion of a full year’s study at the school, and provided there is no debt owing to the College.
  3. New Enrolment Acceptance: Successful applicants will be given an offer of enrolment; you have 2 weeks to accept the offer. At the point of enrolment, you must pay the Security Bond.
  4. Amity College Tuition Fee is an Annual Fee which becomes due and payable upon enrolment or continued attendance to a new tuition year. For administrative purposes the fee is charged to Family Accounts over four terms. School fees must be paid within the first two weeks of each term. Late payments may incur an administration fee.
  5. Fees are reviewed annually by the School Board.

Discount Policy

  1. A discount is allowed for siblings (brothers/sisters) who attend Amity College at the same time:
    – 50% for the second sibling
    – 100% for the third sibling
  2. Alumni Discount: A 10% discount will be available to all children of graduates who have completed year 12 at Amity College.

Student Withdrawals

Where a parent or guardian of a student wishes to withdraw a student from the College a full term’s notice, in writing, to the Principal is required. Full term’s fees in lieu of notice will be charged for student withdrawals if sufficient notice is not received.

Bad Debt Policy

Where tuition fee is outstanding for a full term or greater, without any formal explanation or notice provided, the enrolment will be reassessed at the end of the term. Where no acceptable debt repayment plan is agreed to, student enrolment may be suspended or terminated. Legal action will be followed to recover any unpaid fees; including placing the debt with a collection agency and listing the family account as default credit and any other legal action as deemed appropriate. All legal costs incurred will be payable by the family.

Voluntary Payments

Donations to the School Building Fund are tax deductible.
